VC0501 is an imaging controller for digital still camera products that capture, process, compress, store and display both digital video and still images. VC0501 supports both CMOS and CCD sensors, and comes with multiple interfaces to external microprocessor, LCD driver, SDRAM, NAND Flash, TV encoder as well as strobe flash. It is highly optimized for maximum throughput and superior image quality using advanced image processing and image enhancement techniques. VC0501's Motion JPEG Codec and dynamic bit-rate control guarantee high frame rate (up to 30 frames per second VGA video) and image quality under any bandwidth condition. VC0501 comes in with 160-pin LQFP package.
