VC0301 is a PC camera processor integrating CMOS sensor interface, image signal processing, image compression and USB transfer functions on one single chip, allowing easy implementation of a complete VGA PC camera system. The embedded MJPEG encoder within VC0301 is able to deliver VGA video at 15 frames per second and CIF video at 30 frames per second. VC0301 requires no external DRAM and comes in with 28-pin PLCC package. VC0301's device driver has received Microsoft's WHQL certification.
