Beijing,December 2015/ The National Key Laboratory of “Digital Multimedia Chip Technology” was successfully accepted after inspection. Approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the national key laboratory of “Digital Multimedia Chip Technology” constructed through relying on VIMC recently was qualified for national acceptance and put into operation officially. The laboratory is one of the three national key laboratories of integrated circuit under the national strategic layout. The other two are the key national laboratories of “Special Integrated Circuit and System” of Fudan University and the “Super-large-scale Integrated Circuit of Analog and Composite Signal” of University of Macau, respectively. Deng Zhonghan (academician), Zhang Yundong (CTO of VIMC) and Yang Xiaodong (a member of The Recruitment Program of Global Experts) act as the director, executive director and the director of the academic board of VIMC’s national key laboratory of “Digital Multimedia Chip Technology” respectively.
