Candidates were required to have 650 thousand to 100 million dollars in annual revenues for the year 2005. Companies in the final ranking were chosen based on review of financial data such as revenue growth rate, net income growth, return on assets, and gross margins from 2003 through 2005. This is the third consecutive year that Forbes China has acknowledged companies in this category.
