On July 12, 2006, Yoon-Woo Lee, Vice Chairman, CEO and Corporate CTO & Global Collaboration of Samsung Electronics, Vice Chairman of Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, led a Samsung delegation to visit Vimicro. Dr. John Deng, Chairman of Vimicro, discussed Vimicro's current business development efforts with Samsung guests. Dr. Deng also accompanied the delegation to visit Vimicro's Chip Design Labs. Both Samsung and Vimicro indicated the visit could strengthen their understanding of each other and lay the foundation for the further cooperation.
