(Nasdaq: VIMC), a leading fabless semiconductor

the recipient of the "Outstanding Financial
Performance by a Public Fabless Company Award"
from the Fabless Semiconductor Association (FSA).
The FSA, a trade organization that facilitates
the relationship between fabless companies
and their supplier partners, works to bring
the global supply chain together.

Vimicro won the prestigious industry award
for its outstanding financial record, which
included doubling the company's revenue over
eight consecutive quarters ending in June
2006. Dr. Dave Yang, CTO and co-founder, accepted
the award on behalf of Vimicro Dec. 7 at the
2006 FSA Awards Dinner Celebration held at
the Santa Clara Convention Center in California.
