On
August 30, the Mobile Multimedia Technology
Alliance (MMTA) and the TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance
(TDIA) signed a strategic cooperation agreement
in Beijing, marking the beginning of collaboration
between the two organizations. Under the terms
of the agreement, TDIA will offer their knowledge
of the standards and technology of TD-SCDMA
system network access equipment and terminals
based on their own development experience. MMTA
will be responsible for developing technology
and standards for practical application .
