VC0326 is part of Vimicro’s platform for high quality PC camera products, which is fully compliant with the increased bandwidth of USB2.0 High-Speed (HS) protocol and is USB1.1 compatible. VC0326 also has an integrated sensor interface, 10-bit imaging signal processor and built-in JPEG encoder engine, supporting off-the shelf CMOS sensors up to 2 Mega pixels and CCD sensors up to VGA pixel resolution. VC0326 can output video streams up to 30 frames per second (fps) at VGA resolution or up to 15 fps at 1.3 Mega pixel resolution, as well as capture still images at 2 Mega pixel resolution. VC0326 also provides a high quality audio sampling function as sound is recorded by the built-in 16-bit sigma-delta ADC. VC0326 is designed as a cost-effective device replacing the complex and costly chip sets used in current PC Cam/webcam designs. VC0326 is fully compliant with USB Video Class (UVC) 1.0 standards and USB Audio Class 1.0 standards.
