Henry Rowen's Vimicro Visit

Former US Assistant Defense Secretary Visited Vimicro
Beijing, China, Sept. 24 - During his recent trip to China,
Prof. Henry Rowen, senior fellow at the Hoover Institution,
former Assistant Secretary at US Department of Defense and
President of the RAND Corporation, visited China's Research
Center on Digital Imaging IC and System Engineering£¬ headquartered
at Vimicro Corporation in Beijing.
During his visit to Center, Mr. Rowen learned with great interests
about the development process of Vimicro's digital imaging
IC products, and discussed in detail with Dr. John Deng, President
of Vimicro, on the prospect of adopting Vimicro's high performance
imaging processing technologies in high-end advanced applications.
