Vimicro and Microsoft Partner with Shenzhen Telecom to
promote multimedia communication
Shenzhen, China, May 29 -- Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq:
MSFT - News) and Vimicro Corporation, a leading digital imaging
solution provider, today announced partnership with Shenzhen
Telecom to jointly promote multimedia communication. As the
first major event in China Telecom's "VNET Interconnected
Sky" program, this partnership aims at combining Vimicro's
VXP imaging technology with Windows XP platform to provide
unprecedented multimedia application to broadband users in
Shenzhen.
