VC0528 is Vimicro’s new mega-pixel camera controller and is a welcome addition to the cost-effective mobile camera processor series. It is designed as 100-pin fpBGA package that is pin-to-pin compatible with VC0558 and VC0568. With standard baseline JPEG codec with dynamic bit-rate control, VC0528 enables mobile devices to capture and display various special effects of still images and video clips at real-time.

VC0528 is capable of supporting CMOS/CCD image sensors up to 300K pixels resolution, together with dual LCD panels, VC0528 can capture high-quality, low-latency still images and video stream for users of any kind.
