IV MMS Chip Adopted by World's Largest CDMA Mobile Communication
Operator
It is announced today that Vimicro's VXP IV
chip specializing in MMS application has been adopted by Sprint
PCS, the world's largest CDMA mobile communication operator, as
part of its PCS Vision multimedia communication solution offering
wireless imaging capabilities to millions of its cell phone users
in US.

Vimicro is a Beijing company founded by the
Ministry of Information Industry and run by John Deng, a 35-year-old
Beijing native who studied at Berkeley and worked for IBM before
returning to China.
