Microsoft Corporation and Vimicro Corporation,
a leading digital imaging solution provider, today signed memorandum
on strategic partnership to jointly promote Windows-based digital
imaging technology in worldwide market. This partnership aims at
combining Vimicro's VXP imaging technology with Windows XP platform
to provide unprecedented multimedia experience to PC users worldwide.
Microsoft also presented its WHQL certification to Vimicro's VXP,
the first it ever issued in China.
